The S&Z-Twist

The innovative technique of our Jersey Knit co1nbines both S & Z-hvist yarns to prevent twisting and torquing, keeping the seams where they need to be-right by your side.

During the production process, the S-twist yarn is spun counter-clockwise creating a right-handed twill, while the Z-twist yarn is spun clockwise creating a left-hand twill. Combined, this opposition works together to yield an exceedingly soft fabric that is more durable and resists seam torquing, shrinking, and wrinkling wash after wash.

Developed in-house, we take pride in having all eyes on this collection. From conception to sourcing, design to delivery-the lightweight jersey knit is a product of AG's vertical manufacturing mantra, allowing us to develop this special fabric while ,ensuring the quality and standard for each garment is upheld .

The French Terry collection is the newest addition to our Basic Essentials program. The assortment features tees, crewnecks, pullovers, sweatpants, hoodies, and more elevated loungewear and layering pieces. This collection is designed in 100% Cotton. The Cotton Slub Loop Back Terry is knitted by us, a lightweight slub with an ultra-soft hand and touch. Specially knitted with our S&Z twist tech-nique to prevent torquing. Our Essential Luxe Terry is our most elevated Terry, complete with a soft hand feel for ease and comfort all year long. This knit is also strengthened with our S&Z twist technique to prevent torquing..
